How long is the FTools warranty?
The FTools manufacturer warranty is 12 months (1 year). It covers material and manufacturing defects in the cabinet and Cr-V steel tools. If a tool breaks during normal use we replace it at no charge. You also have the right to the EU statutory warranty for 24 months. If you prefer a longer warranty — check JBM or Force (3 years).
What can I add to the 2 free drawers?
The foam dimensions allow adding BPW sockets for trucks (109, 111, 120, 134 mm), pneumatic impact wrenches (3260 Nm), a multimeter, security bit sets, a test lamp. These accessories can be found in our Truck Tools and Pneumatic Impact Wrenches categories.
Are the VDE 1000V screwdrivers genuinely certified for live work?
Yes — the insulated screwdrivers in Drawer 8 are certified to IEC 60900 (VDE). Safe for work on installations up to 1000V AC / 1500V DC. Remember to hold the relevant SEP certification.
Will the impact sockets in Drawer 9 withstand a pneumatic wrench?
Yes — the 1/2" impact sockets in Drawer 9 are made from impact-grade steel rated for pneumatic loads. The set includes short and long sockets for work on wheels, suspension and the exhaust system. Important: the standard sockets (Cr-V) in Drawer 1 are for hand use — do not use them with a pneumatic wrench.
Will the set handle trucks?
FTools 10/12 is designed for automotive mechanics (passenger cars, vans, light commercials up to 3.5 t). Spanners up to 32 mm cover the standard range. For heavy trucks, buses and industrial machinery with spanners up to 50 mm, HOFFSTAHL 480 pcs. or Metallo 9/11 from our Truck Tools catalogue are a better fit.
Is the cabinet delivered assembled?
Yes — the cabinet is delivered largely pre-assembled. You only need to fit the wheels (tools included, approx. 10–15 minutes). Drawers are already mounted on slides and tools are in foam inserts.
Do you issue EU VAT invoices for companies?
Yes — EU VAT invoices are issued automatically. For EU companies with a VAT-UE number, intra-Community supply without VAT (reverse charge) is possible.
What if the cabinet arrives damaged?
Check the packaging on delivery with the courier. If the carton is damaged — raise a damage report with the driver and contact us the same day. We will send a replacement at our cost.
