Description & Specifications

4000 kg from a single phase. No 380 V supply in your workshop — this lift still goes up and works.

▸ ORDER BY INDIVIDUAL QUOTE ONLY
The lift weighs 560 kg, the columns are 2826 mm tall and it ships on an oversized pallet — freight depends on the country, the address and how it is unloaded, so it cannot be calculated upfront in the cart. Message us on WhatsApp +48 880 739 229 or call: we will give you the full cost including delivery and the lead time, and issue the invoice.
▸ WARRANTY: 24 months manufacturer warranty from JBM

Most 4-tonne two-post lifts need a three-phase supply — and that is where the conversation ends in a workshop that only has one phase. The JBM 54972 is built around that single condition: the 2.2 kW motor runs on 220 V / 50 Hz, drawing 25 A. Everything else is ordinary heavy workshop engineering: 4000 kg capacity, 1850 mm of lift, bottom synchronisation and steel latches at every step.

The arms are telescopic and asymmetric: two straight three-stage and two straight two-stage. The three-stage arms reach further in under the sills of a passenger car, the two-stage ones give more reach under a van. Every arm has a rubber pad on a swivel pin and a guard hoop that protects your foot as the lift comes down.

What sets it apart

  • 220 V single-phase supply — 2.2 kW, 50 Hz, 25 A draw. No three-phase connection required
  • Pads from 95 mm at the lowest setting — it reaches under low-slung cars without ramps
  • Dual-height lifting pad with extended range — one twist instead of hunting for spacer sleeves
  • Three-stage and two-stage telescopic arms — straight, asymmetric set: shorter reach at the front, longer at the rear
  • Foot protector hoop on every arm — the arm will not come down on your boot
  • Dust covers on both columns — the chain and slides stay clean
  • Lift and descent under 45 s — a realistic cycle when you are paid by the job

Before you buy — check four things

  • The floor — concrete at least 300 mm thick for the expansion anchors. That is a manufacturer requirement, not a recommendation.
  • Ceiling height — at least 3150 mm above the floor. The structure itself is 2826 mm; the rest is clearance above the vehicle and for attachments.
  • Space — an installation area of at least 4000 × 1200 mm, with at least 800 mm to the wall at the side and 3500 mm on the drive-in side.
  • Power — a single-phase circuit rated for 25 A. An ordinary 16 A socket is not enough; the connection must be made by a qualified electrician.

Frequently asked questions

Does it really run on ordinary 220 V?
Yes — the 2.2 kW motor is single-phase and the manufacturer's plate states 220 V / 50 Hz / 25 A. There is one condition: the circuit must be rated for 25 A. This is not an extension lead from a socket in the corner of the workshop, but a dedicated circuit from the distribution board.

How does it differ from the PULI lifts in your range?
PULI PL402B and PL402DE are also 4 tonnes, but they need 380 V. The JBM 54972 takes the same vehicle mass from a single phase and has full manufacturer support in the EU — JBM Campllong supplies spare parts from its catalogue by reference number. If you have three-phase power, PULI will cost you less. If you do not — the 54972 is the answer.

How much is shipping?
We quote it individually — 560 kg and 2826 mm columns make this oversized freight, and the price depends on the country, the address and how it is unloaded. That is why the order cannot be completed in the cart: write to us and we will give you the full amount and the lead time.

Do you install it?
Installation and commissioning are carried out on site by a qualified installer — anchoring into concrete and the electrical connection are works that have to be signed off. We will advise you what to prepare before the crew arrives.

Is there a warranty and an invoice?
Yes, 24 months manufacturer warranty from JBM. We issue a VAT invoice; companies with a valid EU VAT number buy at the net price.
