Is the trolley ready to use straight from the box?
Yes — 9 of 11 drawers are filled with tools in foam inserts. The castors fit in 10 minutes (instructions + tools included). Nothing needs to be bought or assembled additionally.
Do the Cr-Mo impact sockets fit truck wheel nuts?
Yes — the 3/4" impact sockets ranging up to 50 mm cover the standard wheel nut sizes of European trucks (Mercedes Actros M22, Volvo M24, Scania M22, MAN M22, DAF M22). For BPW (32 mm and above) there are also appropriate sockets included.
What is the difference between Cr-V and Cr-Mo steel?
Cr-V (chrome-vanadium) is the standard for spanners and screwdrivers — hard, corrosion-resistant, does not crack under pressure. Cr-Mo (chrome-molybdenum) is used for impact sockets — it withstands the high loads of pneumatic wrenches without shattering (a standard Cr-V socket will eventually crack under impact).
How is a 200 kg trolley delivered?
Delivery by freight carrier in 2–3 working days. The trolley is delivered in parts for assembly — standard for this type of product. We will contact you before delivery to arrange collection details.
Will the Torx and Hex bits in the set withstand pneumatic wrench use?
Yes — the HOFFSTAHL impact bits in Dr. 3 (Torx T45–T85 + Hex H10–H19) are made from Cr-Mo steel, specifically for impact work. The Cr-V bits in Dr. 1 (100+ bits) are for hand use — do not use them with a pneumatic wrench.
Can I buy specialist BPW and truck axle spanners separately?
Yes — in our shop you will find separate BPW sockets (109, 111, 120, 134 mm), pneumatic impact wrenches for wheel nuts (3260 Nm) and other specialist tools. The 2 empty drawers in the HOFFSTAHL will accommodate these additions without any problem.
What if the trolley arrives damaged?
Check the packaging on receipt with the carrier. If the carton is damaged — draw up a damage report with the driver and contact us the same day. We will send a replacement at our cost.
