What makes this set last
The fourth drawer uses a different steel — and that is not cost-cutting
Spanners, sockets and screwdrivers are made of chrome-vanadium steel Cr-V — hard, and it holds the drive profile to size. That is the right choice for a tool you tighten by hand.
Impact sockets are made of chrome-molybdenum steel Cr-Mo. Hardness and toughness pull against each other: the harder the steel, the less energy it absorbs before it cracks. An impact wrench delivers 1200–1400 blows per minute — molybdenum raises toughness, so the socket takes those blows instead of resisting them.
Impact sockets are not chrome-plated: chrome plating is hard and brittle, and under impact it flakes off. The matt phosphate finish is a safety requirement, not a way to cut costs.

Headroom even with a full socket module. Ball-bearing slides, full extension: the drawer comes all the way out, so you reach the rear cut-outs without yanking — and yanking is where jamming starts.
That is the limit for the whole trolley, not for one shelf. The stainless steel worktop with its compartments alone holds 55 kg — you can put a brake disc on it, not just spanners.
One turn locks all eight drawers at the end of the shift. Four castors, two of them swivel with a brake — the trolley stays where you leave it.
Two torque wrenches in the set: 3/8″ 20–120 Nm (JBM 54696) and 1/2″ 40–210 Nm (JBM 54527). You tighten to the manual, without stripping a thread and without leaving a wheel undertightened.

Every cut-out is shaped to one specific tool and labelled with its size. You do not have to remember how many pieces were in the drawer — an empty slot is visible from above in a second. This is dense EVA Carbon foam, not a thin vacuum-formed tray that cracks along the folds after a year.

Before you order
482 tools — is that not just filler?
The number alone says little, which is why we list the contents drawer by drawer and give the JBM module number for each one. Each drawer is one module laid out by job, not by piece count. You can verify the contents with the manufacturer before you buy.
How does it differ from the 468-piece version in your catalogue?
It is the same trolley and the same seven factory modules. There is one difference: in the 468 version the eighth drawer ships empty. Here it is filled with two JBM modules — 14 spanners. Take 468 if you want to fill the eighth drawer your own way — sockets for trailer axles, an impact wrench, a multimeter; take this version if you prefer a set that is ready from day one.
Do the tools you add carry the same warranty?
Yes. We fill the eighth drawer with genuine JBM modules — 15158 and 54481 — not with substitutes, so they are covered by the 36-month manufacturer warranty against manufacturing defects, on the same terms as the rest of the set. The warranty covers defects in material and workmanship; it does not cover the natural wear of a tool or the effects of overloading or use other than intended (for example a hand socket on an impact wrench). We give the module numbers so you can check them with JBM before you buy.
How does a trolley weighing 136 kg get to me?
By pallet freight, 3 working days, at our cost within the EU. We will contact you before delivery to agree a time and how it will be unloaded. Check the packaging with the driver — if the carton is damaged, write up a damage report and email us the same day with photos. We handle claims within 14 days.
You add modules to the eighth drawer — does that mean my set was opened on the way?
Yes — we fill the eighth drawer ourselves, before dispatch, because it leaves the factory empty. We put two genuine JBM modules in it, 15158 and 54481, not substitutes; you can check the numbers in the manufacturer catalogue before ordering. The trolley and the seven factory modules stay untouched, and the 36-month manufacturer warranty against manufacturing defects covers the whole thing.
Do you issue an invoice for a company from another EU country?
Yes, automatically. A company with a valid VAT-UE number buys at the net price — just give the number at the payment stage. For companies in Poland, a 23% VAT invoice you can deduct.
