Is 2 tonnes enough for my engine?
The 2T capacity covers all combustion engines in passenger and light commercial vehicles: petrol 70–200 kg, diesel 100–300 kg, heavy V6/V8 250–500 kg, light truck engines (Mercedes Atego, MAN TGL) 400–800 kg. Only large truck engines (Actros, FH) and full-size bus engines above 1,500 kg require a 5T+ crane (not this model).
Why 4 boom positions?
The boom position determines capacity vs reach. 2T position (short boom) — maximum force, but the boom does not reach deep over the vehicle. 0.5T position (long boom) — lower capacity, but the boom reaches over a deep bonnet (vans, SUVs). You choose the position depending on the vehicle: short position for heavy diesels, long position for light engines over a large bonnet.
Can I leave the engine hanging overnight?
We do not recommend it. The hydraulic system has a slight pressure drop over several hours — the engine may slowly lower. For long-term suspension of the engine in the air we recommend a supplementary support (engine stand, 0.5T telescopic support from our catalogue). For a typical engine replacement operation (30–90 minutes) the crane holds stably without issue.
Does the folded crane fit in a car?
Folded dimensions: 1480 × 980 × 800 mm. Fits in the boot of a large SUV (Volvo XC90, Audi Q7, BMW X5) or a light commercial van (Sprinter, Crafter, Transit). Two people required for loading (79.5 kg). Ideal for a mobile mechanic servicing customers at their own workshop / garage.

How is a crane weighing 79.5 kg delivered?
We deliver by freight courier (pallet delivery) within 2–3 business days after order confirmation. Standard parcel courier cannot handle this weight (limit 30–50 kg). It is possible to arrange a specific delivery date and time slot with the haulier.
