In short

Eight reasons a station like this gets bought

360° helper arm with nylon roller
Automatic tilting tower with auto-positioning
1078 Nm of turntable torque — it does not slow down on a stiff sidewall
Centring laser shows the weight position
±1 g and an 8 s cycle — a repeatable result
ALU programs + SPLIT — weight hidden behind the spokes
Measuring arm — no typing the size in by hand
Brake pedal — the wheel stays where it should

The machine, not a presentation

No voice-over and no music — panel, display, laser, measuring arm, mounting a wheel and applying a weight.

Tyre changer 380 V

Run-Flat without a struggle and without scratches on the rim

01

The helper arm is not an extra

On Run-Flat and low profile tyres the stiff sidewall will not be pressed down by hand. The 360° helper arm with a nylon roller holds the bead and the rim edge in place — the operator does not fight the tyre, and the rim edge takes no damage. The pneumatic arm alone costs 1 045,50 € as a JBM spare part — that is what this feature is worth.

Automatic tilting tower
02

Automatic tilting tower

The column tilts back pneumatically and returns to the working position with the mounting head automatically positioned over the rim. Fewer movements on every wheel, fewer chances to scratch the rim.

03

1078 Nm — on the turntable, not in an ad

This is the torque of the plate: the force with which the turntable drives the tyre over the rim. Four pedals (tower, clamps, rotation, bead breaker), monolithically cast clamps, worm gear drive.

Range for premium rims
04

Range for premium rims

10–21″ from the outside, 12–24″ from the inside, wheel up to 1000 mm (40″) and up to 355 mm wide. The figures are for steel rims — alloy rims are thicker, so treat them as a guide.

05

Rim protectors are available as genuine parts

JBM lists a full set of plastic protectors for this machine: bead breaker blade cover (17580), mounting head protectors (17583, 17584), complete plastic union (17642), clamp covers (18264). For many machines on the market such parts simply do not exist, and after a year there is nothing to replace a worn protector with. Here they exist — from the manufacturer catalogue, with a part number.

Laser wheel balancer

So the customer does not come back with a vibrating steering wheel

The most common comeback in a tyre shop is “the steering wheel shakes after the change”. Usually it is not the imbalance itself, but how the wheel sat on the shaft and where the weight ended up.

01

Centring laser

A bright line shows exactly where the weight has to go — instead of judging by eye. Fewer corrections, fewer weights used, more often a result on the first spin.

02

Measuring arm

The machine takes the offset and the diameter itself. You do not type numbers in by hand, so there is no size error to ruin the whole measurement.

ALU and SPLIT
03

ALU and SPLIT

ALU-S, ALU-1, ALU-2 and ALU-3 place adhesive weights on alloy rims, and SPLIT divides the weight and hides it behind the spokes — on an expensive rim you cannot see that the wheel was balanced. A steel clip on aluminium means a scratch and corrosion; an adhesive weight in a well chosen plane does not.

04

Brake pedal

Holds the wheel still while you stick the weight on. On a 24-inch rim that is the difference between calm work and fighting the mass of the wheel.

05

Centring on the cone

Accuracy starts here. ±1 g, 8 s cycle, 200 rpm, wheel up to 65 kg, below 70 dB. Low speed with a large wheel means calmer and safer work.

In practice

What changes in your working day

  • The wheel goes on the shaft once — the laser shows the point, the weight goes straight to the right place.
  • The size is not typed in by hand, so there are no mistakes in the measurement.
  • The stiff sidewall of a Run-Flat does not stop the machine and does not force the operator to strain.
  • The weight on a premium rim is invisible — the customer has nothing to ask about.
  • Three machines arrive together and work from the first day of the season.

No promises of “payback in X months” — the real result depends on how busy the workshop is.

Delivery and unloading

How ~445 kg gets to you

Pallet delivery — free with us, by freight forwarder, 2–3 working days after confirmation.
Unloading needs a forklift or a ramp. The driver does not carry the machines inside.
We agree the date by phone before dispatch — plan the downtime in your shop for that day.
Narrow access or no forklift? Write to us before buying — we will pick the right delivery method.

Warranty and parts

Whether parts exist matters more than the length of the warranty

JBM manufacturer warranty: 12 months from the shipping date (wear parts are not covered). Plus the statutory EU warranty of 24 months.

Parts are available from the JBM catalogue: mounting head (17585), plastic union (17642), head protectors (17583, 17584), bead breaker cover (17580), clamp covers (18264), seal kit (18261), 5-way valve (18262), complete helper arm (18260). A machine you can no longer buy anything for after two years costs more than one that has parts.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a 380 V supply?
Yes, the tyre changer needs three phases (≥16 A, 30 mA residual current breaker). The wheel balancer and the seat run on 230 V. If you have no three-phase supply in the shop — write to us and we will say plainly whether running a line is worth it.
Will it handle Run-Flat and low profile?
That is what it is built for: helper arm with roller, automatic tilting tower and 1078 Nm on the turntable. Range up to 24″ from the inside.
Will it scratch an alloy rim?
The arm holds the rim edge instead of the operator. A full set of plastic protectors for the head and the clamps is available as genuine JBM parts — you order them by catalogue number when they wear out.
What does the laser in the balancer do?
It shows the weight position instead of judging by eye — fewer corrections and fewer comebacks with a vibrating steering wheel. The ALU and SPLIT programs hide the weight on an alloy rim.
What warranty?
12 months manufacturer warranty and 24 months statutory EU warranty. Spare parts available from the JBM catalogue.
How much space is needed?
The machine is 880 × 435 × 1880 mm, plus 500 mm behind it for the tower to tilt, 500 mm on the left and 700 mm on the right.
What compressor?
A steady 8–10 bar. The filter-water separator and the lubricator are on the machine side.
How does it arrive and who unloads it?
Pallet, free delivery, 2–3 working days. Unloading is on the buyer side (forklift or ramp) — tell us what your access looks like.
EU VAT invoice for a company?
Yes. A company with a valid EU VAT number from another EU country buys at the net price (0%, reverse charge).
Can it be returned?
Consumer in the EU — 14 days. B2B company — on agreed terms. We organise the pallet return.
