Questions before you order

Are the battery and charger included?
No. JBM sells the 60073 without a battery and without a charger. It takes JBM 20 V 4 Ah (60013) and 6 Ah (60015) batteries and 60016 (4 A) or 60017 (6 A) chargers — you can choose a kit higher up on this page.
I have a JBM 2 Ah battery — will it work?
JBM lists only the 4 Ah (60013) and 6 Ah (60015) batteries as compatible. The 2 Ah battery is not on that list, so we do not recommend it.
How long does it run on one charge, and how fast does it lift?
JBM does not state the run time per charge or the lifting speed — we will not guess. The manufacturer does state the charging time: 4 Ah battery — approx. 60 ± 15 min on the 60016 charger or 45 ± 10 min on the 60017; 6 Ah battery — approx. 90 ± 15 min on the 60016 or 60 ± 15 min on the 60017.
How high does it lift?
From 1130 to 1945 mm (as also stated on the rating plate), 500 kg capacity. The 815 mm stroke is the difference between these two figures. Check your gearbox height with the slider at the top of the page.
How does it differ from the hydraulic JBM 54001?
Both have a 500 kg capacity. The 60073 has a 20 V battery drive — you raise it with a button, within 1130–1945 mm. The 54001 has a manual hydraulic drive, 1100–1900 mm, needs no battery and is cheaper. The choice depends on how often you remove gearboxes.
